Melbourne, FL – July 19, 2024– The United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) is proud to announce the rosters for the two All American Teams set to compete in the SuperCup NI 2024. The Boys team will compete in the Boys Minor bracket, facing renowned clubs such as Celtic, Glentoran F.C., and Loughgall F.C. Meanwhile, the Girls team will battle in the Girls Premier bracket against prestigious teams like Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Surf Select. Notably, the Girls team placed 3rd in last year’s tournament, demonstrating their skill and competitive spirit.
The SuperCup NI, formerly known as the Milk Cup, is a world-renowned youth soccer tournament that attracts top teams from around the world. The participation of USSSA’s All American Teams marks a significant milestone in showcasing the exceptional talent and dedication of these young athletes on an international platform.
Boys Coach Eric Johnson shared his enthusiasm, stating, “Our boys are eagerly looking forward to this moment. Competing against clubs like Celtic, Glentoran F.C., and Loughgall F.C. will be a challenging yet rewarding experience. I believe our team has the talent and determination to excel and leave a lasting impression.”
Girls Coach Paul Conway echoed similar sentiments, saying, “The opportunity to compete against world-class teams such as Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Surf Select is a tremendous honor for our girls. I am confident they will rise to the occasion and showcase their abilities on this prestigious stage.”
The USSSA All American Teams have been selected based on their outstanding performances and commitment to the sport. Participating in the SuperCup NI will provide these young athletes with invaluable experience and exposure, furthering their development and growth in soccer.
